New Study Reveals Dangerous Contraception Myths

TORONTO, Nov. 22, 1996 -- One of the largest oral contraceptive studies ever conducted in Canada has revealed women make contraception decisions based on myths that could prove dangerous to their health. The Benefits of Awareness Study, conducted with the support of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (SOGC) will be released by its principal investigators and the Executive Vice President of the SOGC in Toronto on Thursday, November 28.
