Medical PET Group - Biological Imaging

The Medical PET Group - Biological Imaging is working with new functional imaging modalities to evaluate diagnostic procedures and therapeutic strategies and to optimize the therapy management in tumor patients. Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Single Photon Tomography (SPET) and radiolabelled pharmaceuticals are used to evaluate biological parameters and to predict therapy outcome. Experimental studies are performed to gain more information about oncologic diseases.
