Psychiatry On-Line is the world's first purely electronic medical journal. It was founded by Dr. Ben Green in 1994. It has an international editorial board and seeks to publish high quality peer reviewed papers as widely as possible. It is free at the point of access, but has physician only sections. Special interest and language sections are being developed by section editors. It offers a variety of extra services to readers.
