The College of Pharmacy is comprised of two academic departments. The Department of Pharmaceutical
Sciences, in concert with other basic science departments on the UNMC campus, is responsible for providing
pharmacy students with both a theoretical and a practical knowledge base in the pharmaceutical sciences,
while the Department of Pharmacy Practice is responsible for the clinical or experiential (internship) component
of the College of Pharmacy curriculum.
