Morningstar: Roche: Data Confirms Invirase Shows Efficacy In HIV

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND -- October, 25, 2007 -- Swiss drugmaker Roche Holding AG said Thursday that final 48 week results from the international 'GEMINI' head-to-head trial, presented at the 11th European AIDS Conference demonstrate that HIV-infected patients treated with the boosted protease inhibitor Invirase 500/r, achieved similar levels of viral suppression and increases in CD4 cells compared to those treated with Kaletra, a commonly used protease inhibitor.
