| | | ![]() Adderall (Amphetamine Mixed Salts) XR for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Launched in United States BASINGSTOKE, ENGLAND -- October 29, 2001 -- Shire Pharmaceuticals Group plc today presented its new once a day treatment for attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) Adderall (amphetamine mixed salts) XR to its sales force in the United States. Adderall XR, a novel formulation of Shire's U.S. ADHD brand leader Adderall (1,2,3), is designed to provide an all day treatment with one morning dose.
