Welcome to the official Web Site of the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre (QEII). The QEII is located in the heart of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and is the largest health centre east of Montreal. If you need to be referred for specialized care, and you're from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or New Brunswick, you will likely go to the QEII. Working closely with providers in the community, other local hospitals and health care education programs, we also provide general hospital services for Halifax and other parts of the Central Health Region of Nova Scotia.
