Although an adjusted sub-group analysis had been used to claim that there was a significant difference between Zomig and rizatriptan, during the presentation of the data it was confirmed that when all patients were considered there was no significant difference between the two treatments in terms of time to pain free. Dr. Alan Rapoport, Director of The New England Headache Center, Stamford, CT, re-affirmed that "Zomig provides the complete triptan profile: rapid, reliable, long-lasting, well-tolerated relief of migraine headache."
